World-leading high pressure hydraulics specialist Enerpac (A Division of Actuant Corp) will be focussing on efficiency and safety at the 2014 Queensland Mining Exhibition (QME) in Mackay from July 22-24.
Enerpac’s showcase at QME 2014 will include its new XC cordless electric pumps and non-impact professional bolting technologies, through to new generation Enerpac EVO synchronous lifting systems used to lift entire structures, plant and machinery weighing thousands of tons.
Enerpac produces and distributes thousands of compact and powerful 700-bar high-pressure hydraulic products throughout the world, helping companies increase productivity and safety. Enerpac’s extensive ranges of high-pressure (700 bar) hydraulic technologies include pumps, cylinders, fastening technologies, tools, systems and accessories.
Enerpac’s XC Series cordless pumps on display at the QME combine the performance capabilities of an electric or pneumatic powered pump with the convenient portability of a hand pump, making them suitable for remote and hard-to-access areas.
The all-steel slimline WCR-4000 Series torque wrenches deliver greater power, durability, accessibility and safety than any comparable tools of their size, especially in limited access applications. The WCR4000 is part of Enerpac’s wide range of non-impact professional bolting and joint technologies, including the W low profile hexagonal wrenches, S square drive wrenches and Z series torque wrench pumps.
Enerpac experts will be on hand at QME to discuss the synchronous technologies employed in recent major Australasian projects, including new generation EVO PLC-controlled synchronous lifting systems used to manoeuvre a 3600-ton tunnel boring machine and strand lift systems used to lift a series of grinding mills in Western Australia weighing 800-1500 tons.
EVO is a new generation Enerpac synchronous lifting system that replaces manual control of hydraulic heavy lifting with PLC control of multiple cylinder lifts offering accuracy, safety and productivity benefits. The new EVO synchronous system offers eight standard hydraulic control modes and can control 4, 8 or 12 points with one hydraulic power unit (HPU).
Also on the Enerpac stand at the QME, ZE split-flow pumps of a type, which recently helped global heavy lift and transport specialist Mammoet significantly increase its conveyor installation rate at a major materials handling facility at Tom Price in Australia’s rugged North West, will be on display.
Enerpac will also be showcasing a range of products to complement the synchronous systems, including the latest RC Duo family of high-pressure 700 bar compact lifting cylinders; ULTIMA series steel hand pumps; compact and lightweight ZUPT 1500 electric tensioner pumps with remote control valve; powerful, efficient and safe hydraulic presses capable of accepting a wide variety of shapes and sizes of work pieces; and Uni-Lift mechanical actuators in capacities up to 250 tons.
