Enerpac selected for largest-ever bolting technology order
ENERPAC has made Australia's largest-ever sale of professional bolting technology, with a multi-million dollar order from the country's leading general hire company, Coates Hire.

The equipment - including some of the most advanced, efficient and safety-oriented torque wrenches, tensioners, nut splitters and pumps - will be used by Coates Hire Industrial Division to service rental markets ranging from building and construction, energy and infrastructure, manufacturing and mining, to oil and gas.
The breakthrough sale into the hire and rental market - which demands tools built to withstand the wear and tear of hire to the toughest industrial markets - complements a major sales drive by Enerpac's own extensive service and distribution network, which will market the technology to customers who want to purchase their own equipment.
The twin sales initiatives follow Enerpac's introduction of extensive new professional bolting technologies this year after its acquisition of Hedley Purvis and Hydratight Sweeny, subsequently merged into Hydratight’s operation of the global Actuant organisation, operating in 30 countries with sales exceeding $A1000 million.

Bolting technology involved in the Coates Hire order - encompassing equipment now being sold throughout Australia and New Zealand by Enerpac's national distributor and service network - includes:
* State-of-the-art torque wrench, tensioner and nut splitter systems, including the S and W series of compact but extremely powerful high pressure (700 bar) hexagonal and square drive steel hydraulic torque wrenches.
The new technology is part of a global family of professional bolting tools engineered to safely and simply streamline and automate many common, time-consuming and potentially hazardous manual maintenance and fabrication tasks.
* High-performance, new generation air and electric pumps that are purpose-built for efficiency and safety.
These include PTA air driven two-stage pumps with automatic bypass for faster cycling; the new ZA4 high flow modular air/hydraulic pumps; and ZU4 204 TE-Q electric pump, which is part of Enerpac's compact and highly portable ZU Series family of pumps engineered to save time and labour on repetitive tasks while improving operator safety.
* Calibration, testing and safety equipment (including high pressure hoses and ancillaries), all backed by extensive training and technical support to ensure Coates' customers receive maximum value, reliability and safety from their equipment.
Enerpac has been established in Australia and New Zealand as a major supplier of high-pressure (700 bar) hydraulic equipment for 50 years, having nationwide service backup and a strong distribution network.
Its ranges of 700 Bar (10,000 psi) precision hydraulic cylinders, tools and safety equipment (contained in its new E325A catalogue) is complemented by professional bolting technology being introduced by Enerpac to address the needs of major areas of industry, including mining and energy, infrastructure construction, manufacturing, pipelines, mobile machinery, tracked and heavy vehicles, craneage and fixed plant.
