Colin Chapman has been appointed as the National Sales Manager for Enerpac in Australia. Colin Chapman has more than 20 years of experience in engineering and business development expertise spanning the country’s major industrial sectors.
Colin Chapman will complement Enerpac Australasia General Manager Tony Brooks, in supporting Enerpac’s team of Territory Managers and network of distributors throughout Australia, expanding Enerpac’s global market leadership in high-force tools and equipment used in industrial markets.
According to Tony Brooks, Colin Chapman will be responsible for expanding the Enerpac brand built over 50 years in Australia on Enerpac’s high-pressure (700 bar) hydraulic expertise. Colin Chapman will also be responsible for introducing new generation safety-oriented, energy saving and labour-saving technologies, including lifting, pumping, fastening and maintenance tools.
Chapman’s experience encompasses engineering, technical and developmental roles involving some of Australasia’s major projects in the building, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining, process engineering, petroleum and safety sectors. These include pipeline, resources loader, ports, petroleum, heavy lifting and materials handling projects.
Chapman’s previous roles include National Technical Manager and Business Development Manager for an equipment hire company, as well as responsibility in Australia for Enerpac’s Integrated Solutions network, which extends over more than two dozen countries on every continent. Chapman will continue to provide Integrated Solutions expertise, which is applied when integrated combinations of world class high force tools, technology and expertise are needed.
