CSR Inkerman Sugar Mill uses Enerpac’s torque wrenches

The CSR Inkerman Sugar Mill has replaced its traditional long spanners with Enerpac torque wrenches for power plant overhauls, resulting in safety benefits, time savings and improved bolt tensioning accuracy.
The rigid high-strength steel uni-body S series hydraulic torque wrenches are now used to dismantle and reassemble the turbine casing and steam line flanges on the mill’s 8 MW Peter Brotherhood steam turbine which produces electricity from the cane crush.
The wrenches address the needs of major areas of industry including mining and energy, infrastructure construction, manufacturing, pipelines, mobile machinery, tracked and heavy vehicles, craneage and fixed plant.
