ENDRESS + Hauser's Willi Schrank, the man who developed the guided radar level measuring device used in the company's Levelflex microwave system, is in Australia to conduct a national series of seminars detailing the strategy behind the system and improvements in Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology.
Willi Schrank has been with the Endress + Hauser product development centre in Maulburg, Germany, for the past 16 years.
As well as his work on guided level radar measuring devices, he is also responsible for the design and marketing of the company's ranges of Prosonic and Prosonic T ultrasonic level measuring devices.
He was also in charge of the technical development program for capacitance and vibrating-fork limit switches.
Most recently involved in developing guided radar / Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) for the Levelflex product range, he has successfully expanded the technological capabilities of guided level measurement to include both solids and liquids level measurement.
Seminars will be held in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Mackay and Gladstone.
