New trend in flow devices

ENDRESS + Hauser Australia has launched two new innovative products -- t-switch and t-trend. Using the thermal dispersion measurement principal, t-switch and t-trend are designed for use in monitoring the flow of liquids and gases.

Typical applications include dry run protection/empty pipe detection; chemical dosing; air injection; compressed air leakage monitoring; and filtration control.

The IP66 ingress protected t-switch and t-trend offer advanced flow measurement algorithms which allow for both automatic and manual adjustment of meter sensitivity to suit application requirements.

T-switch reliably monitors flow velocities in liquid and gas and provides an adjustable switch point while the t-trend provides a 4-20mA trending output.

With no moving parts, these devices are maintenance-free and simple to commission via an optional display showing programming information and error codes.

Both t-switch and t-trend have a wide range of process connections, ranging from flanged to hygienic couplings. They have EHEDG certification and meet the sanitary requirements of 3A to offer the maximum in hygienic safety.

These new switch/trend flow monitors have increased the Endress + Hauser capability in the field of flow measurement technology to include a single, cost-effective instrument for the flow monitoring of both liquid and gas. Endress + Hauser 02 8877 7000.

The DP flow meter DP flow meters available from Endress + Hauser Australia (6-Oct-2008)
Differential pressure (DP) flow meters are based on a relatively inexpensive and mature technology. Yet, selecting and installing these devices is not simple and requires a reasonable level of engineering skill. With the new Deltatop, Endress Hauser Australia have implemented a new solution by supplying a one-stop-shop solution.

The Liquicap T continuous level measuring instrument Endress + Hauser Australia’s Liquicap T continuous level measuring instrument for inventory management (26-Sep-2008)
Endress Hauser Australia’s new Liquicap T continuous level measuring instrumentation for liquids features a build-up compensation mode that overcomes performance problems normally associated with conventional capacitance/inductance level measuring probes, particularly in chemically aggressive and sticky liquid applications.

The Memobase electrode system Endress + Hauser Australia offer pH measuring systems (19-Sep-2008)
Endress + Hauser Australia have introduced the Memobase, an electrode management system. This electrode management system builds on Endress + Hauser Australia’s Memosens technology, giving users an insight into the reliability, performance, estimated lifetime and early-warning-failure in pH measurement.
