Endress Hauser Australia have developed a new range of compact, wafer style magnetic flow meters that are light weight and cost effective.
The Promag 10/50D range has been specifically designed to reliably record water flow in pipelines where flow meter weight and size are important design considerations. The innovative housing design of magnetic flow meters includes bolt centring guides that ensure easy installation at the exact centre of a pipeline guaranteeing high accuracy and a perfect seal.
Promag 10/50D’s rugged, cast aluminium, sensor housing features built-in stainless steel grounding discs as standard. The ultra short tube length makes it possible to retrofit into most existing installations without needing to cut the pipe work.
The meter’s compact sensor is foam filled to provide a high degree of immunity to vibration and humidity. With an environmental protection rating of IP67, the new magnetic flow meters are at home in the most challenging conditions.
Due to the design and material selection, the magnetic flow meters have been approved for drinking water applications by several internationally recognised water authorities.
The new meters incorporate Endress+Hauser’s reliable Promag 10/50 transmitters making them fully compatible with the company’s Fieldcare software and Fieldcheck verification tool. Transmitters are available with a full range of output configurations, including 4-20mA, frequency totaliser, HART and Profibus.
With an accuracy of ±0.5%, the Promag 10/50D can provide a reliable, compact and cost effective flow measurement solution for all water applications.
