ENDRESS + Hauser has released the Levelflex FMP 45 liquids and solids level measuring instrument. It provides reliable performance at 400 bar and from -200°C to 400°C. It meets SIL 2 safety ratings and can cope with foaming and turbulent surfaces.

The guided radar time domain reflectometry(TDR) instrument is available in rod and rope versions. Its safety features make it suitable for regulated operating environments. It has secondary gas-tight feed through, ensuring safety up to 400 bar in the event of primary sealing failure. It complies with the PED-related pressure design guideline 97/23/EG. It complies with EPA requirements for plant safety and emergency shutdown systems. It meets Australian regulations (AS/NZS 2381) for instrumentation in explosion hazard areas.

Endress + Hauser's ToF tool software is provided free of charge with every unit. The tool enables setup and predictive maintenance to be performed at the four-line, 80-character local display or remotely. Operation is intuitive and straightforward, with plain English text, on-screen help and links. The user simply selects and enters relevant variables from a predefined list that covers all types of process conditions.

The Applicator Selection software tool at www.endress.com.au can help customers explore their level measurement options and determine which model they need.
