Level Measurement Multisensor by Endress+Hauser

Product/Service Name

Prosonic S FMU95 Measurement Sensor

Ultrasonic Level Measurement Sensor

Flow Measuring Systems
The Prosonic S FMU95 brings you ultimate ultrasonic level measurement, transmitter in housing for field or top hat rail mounting for up to ten ultrasonic sensors. Non contact and accurate.

Application of the Prosonic S FMU95

  • When measuring levels in large diameter bins and silos which hold solids
  • The Prosonic S FMU95 is ideally suited for accurate level measurement of bulk liquids and solids
  • With the free ToFTool-FieldTool software package, it is a flexible, cost effective solution for various industries that need to monitor levels in silos, hoppers, conveyers and crushers

Benefits of the Prosonic S FMU95 Level Measurement Multisensor

  • The resulting average will provide a much more accurate level measurement compared with a one or two sensor system
  • Using the new FMU95, a number of sensors can be installed around the circumference of large diameter bins and silos, the levels averaged over ten locations

Features of the Prosonic S FMU95 Flow Measurement System

  • Available with a range of six different remote IP68 sensors, selected by the distance of the level measurement
  • The FDU91 sensor is for short distances from as little as 300mm, to the FDU96 which operates up to 70m
  • The transmitter automatically detects which sensor is connected and configures itself accordingly
  • With up to ten sensors, the user can select any combination of average, difference or sum of levels
  • Can have up to ten sensors that may be connected to one transmitter, well suited for level measurement applications where there are several closely located bins or vessels to measure, or where level profiling is required
  • The FDU95/96 long range sensors can even withstand high temperatures as found in cement silos and incorporate a self cleaning sensing membrane for use in harsh and dusty applications
  • Individual sensors possess a number of features including fully welded housing made from PVDF or 316L stainless steel and can resist CIP cleaning and peak temperatures of 135°C-150°C

Endress + Hauser Australia have been successful in supplying the majority of the process instrumentation to the Western Corridor Re-Cycled Water Project (WCRWP), in South East Queensland (SEQ), including highly specialised engineered solutions to monitor the water quality through the treatment processes.

The DP flow meter DP flow meters available from Endress + Hauser Australia (6-Oct-2008)
Differential pressure (DP) flow meters are based on a relatively inexpensive and mature technology. Yet, selecting and installing these devices is not simple and requires a reasonable level of engineering skill. With the new Deltatop, Endress Hauser Australia have implemented a new solution by supplying a one-stop-shop solution.

The Liquicap T continuous level measuring instrument Endress + Hauser Australia’s Liquicap T continuous level measuring instrument for inventory management (26-Sep-2008)
Endress Hauser Australia’s new Liquicap T continuous level measuring instrumentation for liquids features a build-up compensation mode that overcomes performance problems normally associated with conventional capacitance/inductance level measuring probes, particularly in chemically aggressive and sticky liquid applications.

The Memobase electrode system Endress + Hauser Australia offer pH measuring systems (19-Sep-2008)
Endress + Hauser Australia have introduced the Memobase, an electrode management system. This electrode management system builds on Endress + Hauser Australia’s Memosens technology, giving users an insight into the reliability, performance, estimated lifetime and early-warning-failure in pH measurement.
