Endress + Hauser Australia is inviting the nation's instrument technicians, electrical and process engineers, consultants, contractors and project engineers to join a process instrumentation training tour to Europe, which will coincide with Interkama '11, the world's largest process automation exhibit.
As well as coinciding with Interkama '11, which is co-hosted with the Hannover Fair, this unique 12-day tour will also include training courses by Endress + Hauser specialists at Maulburg, in Germany’s Black Forest region, Endress + Hauser Flowtec in Switzerland and France, as well as a day at the University of Basel Nanoscience department.
Australian participants from the previous Endress + Hauser process instrumentation training tour in 2008 were extremely pleased with their visit, as reflected in the very complementary feedback received. Previous participants commented that the training tour found a perfect balance between Interkama, sightseeing, traditional banquets, and measuring technologies.
“The tour is very well organised. It offers an opportunity to learn much more about the design and manufacturing of instrumentation,” says Robert Jol of Sedgman.
“All aspects of the tour were extremely well planned. A great mix of training and learning of the local cultures. I highly recommend people consider taking the tour," says Kevin Chalk of Norske Skog.
“I had a great time at Interkama and sightseeing. It was good to visit the factories to see and hear about instrumentation," says Ian Boardman.
An event not to be missed, the Endress + Hauser process instrumentation training tour to Europe departs Sydney on Friday 1 April 2011 and returns Friday 15 April 2011. Spaces are already limited.
