Endress+Hauser unveils solutions in gas measurement

gas measurement
After an oversubscribed successful series of interactive sessions earlier this year, Endress+Hauser’s training gas flow rig will be back in Australia July – August.

Although various gases are widely used and distributed in many industrial processes, its accurate measurement requires a good understanding of the various flow measurement technologies.

Endress+Hauser is one of the world’s leading suppliers for solutions in gas measurement.

This training rig features controlled, variable volumes of air flow pumped through pipework to which are attached four different flow measuring technologies: Thermal Dispersion, orifice plate with dp, Vortex and Coriolis.

Each technology has a specific application window. By changing the flow rates on the training rig, participants are able to identify, first-hand, which technologies work well, at what flow rate and with what accuracy.

The technologies built into the rig use principles that apply to all gases, steam and liquids.

Topics covered in this training are:

  • Selecting the correct flow measuring technology
  • Installation do’s and don’ts
  • Hands-on training: experience the strengths and limitations of different technologies, installation effects and application influences
  • Utility gases – from measurement to management. How to improve efficiency in gas usage

The DP flow meter DP flow meters available from Endress + Hauser Australia (6-Oct-2008)
Differential pressure (DP) flow meters are based on a relatively inexpensive and mature technology. Yet, selecting and installing these devices is not simple and requires a reasonable level of engineering skill. With the new Deltatop, Endress Hauser Australia have implemented a new solution by supplying a one-stop-shop solution.

The Liquicap T continuous level measuring instrument Endress + Hauser Australia’s Liquicap T continuous level measuring instrument for inventory management (26-Sep-2008)
Endress Hauser Australia’s new Liquicap T continuous level measuring instrumentation for liquids features a build-up compensation mode that overcomes performance problems normally associated with conventional capacitance/inductance level measuring probes, particularly in chemically aggressive and sticky liquid applications.

The Memobase electrode system Endress + Hauser Australia offer pH measuring systems (19-Sep-2008)
Endress + Hauser Australia have introduced the Memobase, an electrode management system. This electrode management system builds on Endress + Hauser Australia’s Memosens technology, giving users an insight into the reliability, performance, estimated lifetime and early-warning-failure in pH measurement.
