Endress+Hauser to conduct Process Instrumentation Training Tour to Europe

Process Instrumentation Training Tour to Europe
Endress+Hauser is to conduct a Process Instrumentation Training Tour to Europe for Australia’s instrument technicians, electrical and process engineers, consultants, contractors and project engineers.
The unique 14-day trip will coincide with Interkama ’08 – a huge process automation exhibition which is co-hosted with the Hannover Fair.
The tour will include training courses by Endress+Hauser specialists at Maulburg in Germany’s Black Forest region and Endress+Hauser Flowtec in Switzerland and France.
Australian participants of last training tour in 2006 were pleased with their visit. “It was a fabulous experience with great organisation and hospitality,” say Fillipp Ostapowicz and Louise Browne, process technicians at Hydro Tasmania.
Over one half of all visitors to Interkama travel from countries outside of Germany to learn the latest developments in end-to-end process solutions and new technologies.
“This is an excellent initiative and the tour was well balanced in terms of technical training and recreation,” says David Rowbotham, manager of Hatch Associates who was also on the 2006 tour.
“It offered visitors a good insight into products and production capabilities of Endress+Hauser,” he adds.
Seelan Jeyaseelan from the Water Corporation of Western Australia echoes this sentiment.
“The tour was a wonderful opportunity to get to know the Endress+Hauser team, their products and understand their innovative design philosophy. In fact, I wish we could have spent more time at Endress+Hauser production facilities at Maulberg and Flowtech,” says Jeyaseelan.
The tour departs Sydney on 18 April 2008 and returns 3 May 2008.
