The Liquicap T continuous level measuring instrument
’s new Liquicap T continuous level measuring instrumentation for
liquids features a build-up compensation mode that overcomes performance problems normally associated with conventional capacitance/inductance level measuring probes, particularly in chemically aggressive and sticky liquid applications.
This mount-and-measure level instrument compensates for any coating or scaling, when immersed in dirty or aggressive liquids, detecting build-up by measuring changes in electrical parameters. This is unaffected by changing density, temperature, dielectric constant, vapour and foam that are factors affecting the accuracy of alternative technologies like hydrostatic pressure, ultrasonic or float style level transmitters.
The Liquicap T is ideally suited for measuring liquid levels in plastic ISO containers, GRP tanks or concrete pits. Liquicap T’s technology offers an installation and reliability benefit for manufacturers of OEM tanks or OEM chemical crate containers.
Devices are supplied pre-calibrated ready for installation. The standard 2 metre rod probe includes a shortening kit so it can be adjusted on-site by the customer to suit individual storage requirements.
When combined with the Endress + Hauser Australia Fieldgate remote location data transmitter, the Liquicap T measuring level device provides a cost-effective solution for monitoring, measuring and managing liquid levels at isolated sites.
The Fieldgate software gathers data from the remote device measuring points allowing customers to view multiple container levels from their nearest workstation. Endress+Hauser Australia can also create an online portal so measurements can be viewed off-site via a web browser.
The Liquicap T is a low cost, low-powered, level measuring instrument that is ideal for inventory management of all types of liquids at any location.
