INSTRUMENTATION company Endress+Hauser Australia this year celebrates its fifth year in operation, having experienced substantial growth since its inception, tripling turnover and almost doubling staff numbers.
Managing director John Immelman expects the company to double its turnover in the next five years.
Apart from riding the resources boom, Immelman also sees significant growth opportunities in water management and wastewater treatment.
“Our expanding distributor network will doubtless be invaluable in this effort,” he said. The network currently covers Bathurst, Newcastle, Gladstone, Townsville, Hobart, Mt Gambier and Wollongong.
Immelman credits a major part of the company’s success to the group spending around nine percent of worldwide sales on R&D. Over the past five years alone, E+H has developed over 100 new base products plus 5,000 options.
