Comet represents the PFM technology applied to vertical
packaging machines and is dedicated to the packaging of free-flowing products.
Comet is capable of producing stable-based packages at high speeds, sealed along the whole length of the four side corners (Steelo Pack).
The innovative new-concept super long dwell sealing system increases the machine’s packaging speed and guarantees hermetic sealing.
PFM Comet achieves 100 packaging cycles a minute (Steelo Pack version): the machine’s maximum packaging speed depends on the type of wrapping film used and the dimensions of the package.
The machine is driven by 2 independent brushless motors with motion controller; the touch screen panel simplifies parameters settings while the tele-servicing system has been developed for on-line programming and diagnostics.
PFM Comet’s structure is of the hermetic box type which prevents dust and liquids from entering the machine. The PFM comet steelo pack high speed version is constructed entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel and is therefore particularly suited to the requirements of the industry, which needs a high degree of protection against infiltration and external agents.
