Product/Service Name
HotShot thermal imaging cameras with data logging
Function/ApplicationsHotShot thermal imaging cameras, from Electrophysics Corp USA, go beyond traditional point and shoot it HotShot thermal imaging cameras by combining outstanding image quality with a powerful, yet simple to use in-built PDA type touch screen and QWERTY keyboard for data entry and data logging functions.
Enter descriptive image file names, asset locations and inspection comments using the QWERTY keyboard. Record equipment type, diagnosis, repair recommendations and severity codes via pull-down menus. Capturing thermal image and inspection information on-site in-camera is more reliable, accurate and efficient than the traditional methods with point and shoot thermal imaging cameras relying error-prone hand written notes.
The HotShot thermal imaging cameras also introduce Route Based Inspections. By prompting users on which inspection to carry out next, the route based method is the most effective and accountable way of managing repetitive inspections of critical assets. Routes can also be learned by the HotShot thermal imaging camera to provide a survey report, a management tool that ensures the repeatability of future inspections.
Another unique feature of the HotShot Thermal Imaging cameras is the ReportIR Automatic Report Generation software. ReportIR automatically generates reports, whether 5 pages or 50 pages, in minutes. All the data in the report comes from the image file, which the user generates on-site in-camera using the thermal imaging camera’s data entry features. This eliminates double entry in the office. Simply download the image files to PC via USB or CF card, select the report template and ReportIR’s multi-page function automatically inserts the thermal image file, visible light image file and inspection data into the template and generates the multi-page reports.
HotShot’s come with a visible light camera, and optional telephoto and wide angle lenses. With the HotShot thermal imaging cameras, you’ll never go back to traditional point and shoot thermal imaging cameras again.
