Emona and Electrophysics partnership agreement
Emona Instruments, the supplier of electrical and electronic test and measuring instruments, announces an exclusive agency agreement with Electrophysics Corp of New Jersey, USA, for the HotShot range of infrared thermal imaging cameras.
Established in 1969, Electrophysics Corp is a designer and manufacturer of night vision and infrared camera technologies used in defence, law enforcement and industrial applications.
The Electrophysics HotShot range of infrared cameras go beyond traditional point and shoot cameras by providing a powerful, yet simple to use in-built data logger with PDA type touch screen and QWERTY keypad for entering descriptive image file names, asset location and comments, as well as pull down menus for equipment type, diagnosis, repair recommendation and severity code.
Capturing the image and inspection information in-camera on-site is much more accurate and convenient than traditional methods such as using handwritten notes.
Generating reports is also a time consuming aspect of conducting thermal surveys.
The HotShot’s data unique in-camera data management speeds up the generation of inspection reports to little more than a couple of minutes, regardless of whether it is 5 pages or 105 pages report.
