Aaeon unveils new series operator panel
AOP-8070 operator panel
Industrial PC manufacturer, Aaeon has unveiled a new economic operator panel, the AOP-8070.
The AOP-8070 is a small size, multi-function Panel PC to fit into a compact and rugged environment.
AOP-8070 features 7" 16:9 WQVGA TFT LCD and adopts Marvell PXA 270 for 1st TTL LCD and CRT output. The 2nd TTL LCD output is an optional function that could be activated by an Intel 2700G chipset.
This 7" 16:9 TFT LCD is more readable in view area compared to traditional 6" or 5.4" STN or TFT LCD. More graphic or text content can be displayed. The brightness is also higher than traditional HMI.
The AOP-8070 operator panel available from Embedded Technologies adopts a Marvell Xscale processor that is specially designed to serve as a human machine interface (HMI).
The Marvell Xscale PXA 270 is faster than traditional ARM7 or 32bit CPU. It empowers the user to maximise the AOP-8070 in different automation projects.
AOP-8070's onboard Ethernet controller and multi-COM port interfaces enable it to provide good expansion capabilities. With a built-in CompactFlash socket, the AOP-8070 is as compact and user friendly as a multi-function computer.
Moreover, the fit anywhere design makes it flexible and it can be used in varying installations.
AOP-8070 can be wall-mounted, panel-mounted or mounted on a DIN Rail. The VESA 75/100 are standard mounting tools for AOP-8070.
This tool provides safety and is an easy way to install the AOP-8070 and ensure the security of system investment.
Regarding the AOP-8070's construction, it passed IP-65 certification for the plastic front panel and aluminium rear cover.
For many critical applications, the IP-65 certification is essential and necessary for panel products.
