The Freescale Kinetis device families in the MDK-ARM microcontroller development kit are now supported by Keil.
The Kinetis portfolio of ARM Cortex-M4 processor-based MCUs consists of five families with over 200 pin-peripheral and software compatible devices offering outstanding performance, memory and feature scalability.
The portfolio includes a comprehensive selection of peripheral options and innovative FlexMemory technology.
MDK-ARM microcontroller development kit
Developed together with Freescale, the latest release of MDK-ARM supports all Kinetis K10, K20, K30, K40, K50 and K60 devices.
MDK features the industry-standard compiler from ARM, the Keil µVision4 IDE, the full featured RTX RTOS and sophisticated analysis tools. It is specifically optimised for single-chip, high performance devices such as the Kinetis Cortex-M4 family.
MDK-ARM v4.13a is available for download now. The Freescale OSJTAG drivers that enable MDK to connect to the Freescale Tower evaluation system without using a ULINK adapter can also be simultaneously downloaded.
Keil products from ARM include C/C++ compilers, debuggers, integrated environments, RTOS, simulation models and evaluation boards for ARM, Cortex-M, Cortex-R4, 8051, C166 and 251 processor families.
ARM designs the technology that lies at the core of advanced digital products such as wireless, networking and consumer entertainment solutions as well as imaging, automotive, security and storage devices.
