Keil extend their support for ARM7 family-based devices from NXP Semiconductor (formerly Philips Semiconductors) with the introduction of the MCB2470 evaluation board. The MCB2470 evaluation board is available from Embedded Logic Solutions .
Featuring the LPC2478 microcontroller, the MCB2470 includes 128MB external RAM and 32MB external Flash in addition to the on-chip memory offered by the LPC2468. The MCB2470 evaluation board offers a colour QVGA LCD display with touch screen plus a wide range of interfaces including USB (Host and OTG), CAN, Ethernet, SD/MMC cards and UARTs.
The Microcontroller Development Kit (MDK-ARM) features numerous ready-to-run example projects for the MCB2470, making practical use of the board's peripherals. Some of these examples are built around the Keil RTX Real-Time Kernel, also included as part of MDK-ARM. The real-time library includes CAN, Flash file system and USB device examples ported to the MCB2470 board.
