The new E-Line for finishing printed circuit boards has been released by LPKF Laser and Electronics. Used for printed circuit board prototyping, the E-Line is available from Embedded Logic Solutions .
The E-Line circuit board prototyping system is made up of three systems:
- The ProtoPrint E is an inexpensive SMT stencil printer used for metal and polymer stencils. With a working area of 160 x 200mm, it is supplied with a double-sided quick clamping frame for frameless stencils.
- The ProtoPlace E is a manual, pneumatic-assisted, Pick&Place system that can handle components up to 0603 format, SO-Ics and smaller QFPs. The system boasts 14 anti-static component feeders and its big brother, the ProtoPlace S, boasts semi-automatic placement using a camera control system.
- The ProtoFlow E is a convection oven that produces reliable reflow soldering results over the whole printed circuit board – even for lead-free solders. The maximum temperature is 320 °C and it features a working area of 160 x 200mm. The reflow-oven perfectly matches the ProtoPrint E. Also available, the ProtoFlow S handles larger printed circuit boards.
With the ProtoMat S 62, LPKF offers a mid-size circuit board plotter for printed circuit board structuring. The successfully tried and tested ProtoMat comes complete with a tool changer, an acoustic cabinet, and high performance software for the simple importing of CAD data.
