A new fully associative interface with Solid Edge V18 allowing for effective geometry transfer in preparation for analysis, maintaining data integrity between design and analysis.
Additionally all material properties and colors are automatically transferred with the Solid Edge model.
Analysis options include static, modal, buckling, heat transfer, and non-linear studies for parts and assemblies.
Full associatively is maintained between Solid Edge and Femap:

Femap is able to work with geometry from virtually any source, directly and seamlessly.
Windows based approach makes Femap readily accessible and familiar to today’s engineers.
