We have a small acreage in Inverleigh and are interested in using wind power when we build our new home, are turbines suitable for domestic purposes available and if so what would be the approximate cost?
To answer your question small wind turbines are suitable for domestic purposes however viability relies heavily on the site and its suitability for wind. Wind turbines need clearance from the effects of turbulence to generate power effectively.
This means clear access to the predominant wind flow and clear access from trees and or buildings. Without this it is difficult for wind turbines to generate effectively. My contact details are firstname.lastname@example.org or 0416 840 579.
