Eaton Electric Systems has released a compact digital meter called, Circutor DM45-CM. Designed for DIN rail mounting and measuring only 30mm wide, the Circutor DM45-CM measures volts, amperes, frequency and maximum demand and THD (current and voltage).
The Circutor DM45-CM has a measuring range of 50-600Vac, 10-600Hz and 0-30A for direct connected units or CT input (5A) for indirect units.
An output relay can be assigned to an alarm function of an electrical parameter (voltage or current or frequency) with possibility of setting up the corresponding max/min levels, connection/disconnection delays, latching and fail safe options.
Circutor DM45-CM’s internal memory stores the minimum and maximum values of the measured electrical parameters in the event of a power failure, without the need for an external battery.
Maximum demand integration time can be programmed to be linear using a sliding time window or alternatively based on the simulating response of the thermal exponential function of mechanical meters (thermal demand).
Total harmonic distortion can be programmed based on the effective value (THD%) or the fundamental (d%).
