Eaton Electric Systems have introduced a feature packed Kyoritsu 3128 high voltage insulation tester. The test voltage is variable to 12kV, 35TΩ with a short circuit current of 5mA.
The 3128 has a large, multifunction display with back lighting showing all of the critical setup and test parameters. The unit is housed in an IP64 rated hard carry case for added protection as well as for housing all of the required accessories and test leads.
The 3128 can either be operated from the built-in rechargeable batteries or from the external mains supply. The safety category rating for the 3128 is CAT IV 600V making it safe for industrial use.
In addition to insulation resistance testing, the 3128 offers a range of diagnostic insulation testing as well. Data communication comes standard with the 3128 with a USB cable and software supplied.
