EARLEE Products ’ Schinkentec Ham has won the Highly Commended award in FOOD Magazine Challenge Awards’ Meat & Smallgoods category, proudly sponsored by Baltimore Aircoil.

As the name suggests - ‘Schinken’ being German for ham and ‘tec’ for technology - the process involved in making Schinkentec hams is a combination of careful, efficient smallgoods production and proven shelf life extension technology.

Earlee Products developed the specially formulated Schinkentec process to produce a leg ham with extended refrigerated shelf life - up to three times that of normal hams - with a superior, delicate taste, according to the company.

The product showcases what is commercially possible while proving to be popular in the local consumer market.
