Manufactured as in-line or elbow type pressure balanced assemblies, they are recommended for use where it is not possible to make fixed corners or elbows in piping systems.
They are designed to eliminate pressure thrust (the force which acts on bellows). This must be contained with either main anchors or restrained expansion joints which can carry pressure thrust loads.
