ERNTEC has released the Faulhaber 1024 series of dc micromotors, with NdFeB magnets that achieve a stall torque of 2.89mNm and speeds of up to 14,700 rpm. It has an external motor diameter of 10mm and a length of 24mm, providing a high power/volume ratio.

The precious metal commutation has a low contact resistance and low starting voltage, even after extended standstill periods. The 1mm diameter motor shaft ensures high rotational stability. A new design feature is the placement of the rear bearing in the stator instead of the brush cover. The black housing provides optimum heat dissipation.

The motors can be combined with numerous planetary and spur gearheads with diameters of 10mm and 12mm, increasing the available torque up to 450mNm. The encoders available for this range in combination with the micromotors allow precise control of speed and direction of rotation as well as the positioning of the drive shaft.
