Arsape have released two new Stepper Motors suitable for applications where µA (Micro-Ampere) current consumption is the key requirement.
The ASP series of Miniature Stepper Motors is designed to offer low current consumption possible by utilising rare earth magnets.
Such magnets also permit an extended operating temperature range of –40° to +85°C.
The single phase Stepper Motor ASP 006 features a step angle of 60° with an output torque of 20 µNm while the type ASP 124 has a step angle of 15° and an output torque up to 75 µNm.
The ASP 124 motor utilises an integrated gearwheel to transmit the unidirectional rotary actuation.
With such features ASP series of Miniature Stepper Motors is particularly suitable for all applications where the required operation speed is ranging from a few steps/month to approximately 16 steps/second. With auto-commutation the speed can even be higher.
