Learn the latest on EMC
IN March and April, in Australia and New Zealand, Euro-engineer Keith Armstrong will present a series of courses on EMC, safety management, compliance and design.
Sponsored by EMC Technologies , the courses will be conducted in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Auckland and Christchurch.
Modules range from introductory to advanced, and cover the new EMC Directive, the WEEE and RoHS Directives and major changes to the Low Voltage Directive.
Plain English and simple mathematics are used to describe practical methods for quickly achieving EMC and compliance at low cost. The emphasis is on emerging EMC and signal integrity design challenges, associated with ICs and co-located wireless data communications.
Armstrong is a practicing EMC engineer and chairman of the IEE working group on EMC and functional safety.
