Wireless Gateways - 105G-X / 905G-X is another product offered by ELPRO Technologies . Automation data buses and popular process control are connected by Wireless Gateways and I/O information is converted to proven WIB-net wireless protocol of ELPRO Technologies.
Wireless Gateways connect PLC’s on a new system to existing LAN; they connect protocol devices to a common wireless network. These gateways also interface automation LAN’s in various sections of a plant.
The features of Wireless Gateways include wireless extension of automation buses of factory like Ethernet and Profibus that provide a high security firewall, interconnection of different data buses through wireless protocol conversion, interface between DCS, PLC’s, SCADA or HMI and ELPRO wireless I/O units, data encryption of high security, automatic error-correction and acknowledgment and multiple path routing and peer to peer addressing.
Wireless Data Modems from ELPRO Technologies include wireless serial data (Radio Modems), industrial wireless device servers and Ethernet. The features of wireless serial data (Radio Modems) include industrial power supplies, RS485 and RS 232 connections and industrial temperature ratings.
