HV insulator tester provided by ELF Electronics
ELF Electronics is a provider of various measuring and testing equipment which include HV insulator testers, odometers, contract assembly units and so on. Apart from measuring equipment, ELF Electronics also provides contract measuring services. The HV insulator tester provided by ELF Electronics has been developed as a field useable insulator testing instrument. HV insulator testers measure the voltage across an insulator in a live line insulator string which helps to enable speedy and accurate identification and replacement of faulty insulators.
HV insulator testers supplied by ELF Electronics are integrated with large 25mm high display screens which allow easy and safe readings. The construction of HV insulator testers is rugged for field use and when they are not in use, a strong ABS moulded case protects the tester against transport vibration.
Temperature conditions of HV insulator testers include test conditions of 20° +/-3°C at 50 percent relative humidity and working conditions of -5°C to +50°C at 0 to 80 percent relative humidity. HV insulator testers are integrated with 7 segment 25mm liquid crystal display and provide low battery indication.
