24-hour plant monitoring solution

EDAC Electronics Australia has introduced the SCADAPhone alarm dialler from ScadaTEC, that offers a cost-effective solution to 24-hour plant monitoring, logging of all alarms and process values within the plant.

SCADAPhone is a Windows-based voice alarm dialler and remote SCADA terminal.

It monitors alarm and analogue points in SCADA or HMI/MMI software using a client/server DDE or OPC links in real time.

When an alarm is detected, SCADAPhone will dial a pre-determined list of telephone numbers and will continue through the contact list until the alarm is acknowledged.

SCADAPhone will appeal to system integrators, SCADA software developers and existing SCADA system users throughout industry and utilities.

SCADAPhone is much more than an autodialler, providing great flexibility in alarm message definition and handling.

It allows a user to call in from any touch tone phone and access a user defined menu system.

There is no limit to the number of menus or alarms. It makes contacts via voice, SMS or email; an individually customised alarm handling schedule is possible; and it allows users to remotely turn equipment on/off, configure and change set points.

SCADAPhone has exceptional customer support and is compatible with all major SCADA/HMI software (OPC, DDE, etc).
