BOWEN & Groves has gained a new user in Canada for its M1 ERP software system which has a specific focus on meeting the diverse operational and business management needs of small to medium sized manufacturers.
Toronto-based Pack-Smart is a manufacturer of innovative packaging machinery, specifically high speed pick and place machines, able to accurately insert small products, including compact disks, coins and pharmaceutical's, into direct mailing packages, magazines and fulfilment shippers, at rates up to 420 items a minute
The Pack-Smart commission for M1 has been achieved by B&G Systems Canada's president, Fred Gurney. B&G Systems Canada has recently been appointed as the M1 reseller with responsibility for the Canadian market.
Fred Gurney says he sees significant applications potential for M1 in the Canadian manufacturing sector.
"News of the rapid adoption and acceptance of M1 around the world is increasingly being recognised in Canada by our local manufacturing sector, which has many similarities with other international markets where the M1 ERP package has achieved a strong user base," Gurney said.
Bowen & Groves has already achieved more than 350 installed sites for M1 in Australia, the USA, and the UK.
In the two latter markets, Bowen & Groves has established direct representation through established resellers and associated companies.
The ease of commissioning, extensive range of features and specific applications to all aspects of a manufacturing business, from quoting to order processing, purchasing, job progress tracking and accounting functions make M1 a truly scalable software product suitable for the needs of small enterprises, while offering medium to large and complex businesses the key functionality they need at an affordable price.
The current Version 3.5 of M1 developed for a Microsoft SQL server with a Microsoft Outlook look and feel runs on all Windows platforms and incorporates hundred of additional enhancements to various modules.
