Available now from ECO Environmental , the Diver groundwater data logger from Schlumberger is capable of accurately measuring and compensating groundwater level, temperature and conductivity fluctuations.
Diver groundwater data loggers are simply suspended in a monitoring well from a steel wire or Diver Data Cable. Once installed, these monitoring systems are completely invisible above ground to reduce the risk of vandalism.
Diver groundwater data loggers are available with a diameter of 18mm or 22mm, and are only 90mm long. The diver is capable of 24,000 or 48,000 measurements and can sample every 0.5 seconds, up to every 99 hours. As they are hermetically sealed, these Diver groundwater data loggers can be left deployed in a monitoring well for up to 10 years.
A CeraDiver, a ceramic groundwater data logger, is ideal for corrosive well conditions and is capable of logging conductivity to 80mS/cm, whilst maintaining a slender 22mm diameter and a length of 183mm.
Used in conjunction with a BaroDiver for barometric compensation, the data from these groundwater data loggers can be neatly presented in the provided Diver-Office software. Data retrieval can incorporate office PC, laptop, pocketPC and mobile telemetry options to minimise time in the field.
