SP-150 series of Thermal Dispersion Flow Switch

SP-150 series of Thermal Dispersion Flow Switches work by calculating velocity based on the heat loss of a heated probe. The reading is compensated by also measuring the ambient temperature.

Maximum working pressure is 100Bar and process temperatures from –20 to 80C are allowable.

The SP-150 series of Thermal Dispersion Flow Switches is available in 304SS, 316SS and PVDF with ½ BSP or ¼ BSP process connections.

The IP67 housing and sensor material are the same, and the switch come complete with a matching connector and 2M cable.

Switched output is NPN or PNP with a 19-30VDC supply and 6 LEDS show the flow and switch status including 4 LEDS showing flow rate above set point.

The flow range in water is from 1-150cm/sec, and in oil 3-300cm/sec. Since there are no moving parts, the SP-150 series of Thermal Dispersion Flow Switch can be expected to operate without maintenance in most applications.
