The Compact IR temperature Raytek CM is available in 3 versions for outputs, J or K thermocouple or 0-5V DC. This allows direct replacement of thermocouples in many applications where the performance of the sensor is problematic. Applications include where the target is moving, material is soft and cannot be touched, or where fast response time is needed. A complete range of mounting hardware complements the Compact IR temperature Raytek CM , with air purge, screw on window, adjustable mounting bracket and right angle mirror.
Because the Compact IR temperature Raytek CM measures at 8-14 microns, it is acceptable to test applications using common hand held IR thermometers. If the measurement is successful with the hand held unit, then it will work well using the CM. The advanced signal processing functions, such as peak hold, or valley hold mean that the Compact IR temperature Raytek CM can work well, even where a hand held unit does not.
