Comark Corporation, a leading designer and manufacturer of high performance computer and display solutions has just introduced SnapHMI, a cost effective panel display replacement, which is now available from ECEFast .
SnapHMI consists of a standard 19” desktop monitor mounted within a frame with touchscreen or polycarbonate shield to form a NEMA 4X panel mount display. It can also be configured as a rack mountable display in a 9U form factor. The rack-mounted version is available with a 19” or 20” display in the same package.
SnapHMI is a is a low-cost alternative to legacy HMI’s from Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc and others. By incorporating standard desktop monitors, total cost of ownership is lowered by providing an equivalent solution for less, and making future repairs less costly by simply dropping in a new monitor.
