Rhino Flexible Conduits from EC&M Electrical
EC&M Electrical were recently appointed sole distributors in Australia for Rhino Flexible Conduits.
The European manufacturers of Rhino Flexible Conduits changed ownership several times during the mid-90s, resulting in the fragmentation of local distribution, then being held by several Australian companies.
Early this year, distribution was reduced to two companies, with sole distribution awarded to EC&M Electrical in July.
Jack Kenyon, managing director of EC&M Electrical warned that “as a registered trademark, the genuine article can only be sourced through us. Use of the trademark to supply or describe any other product or look alike is an offence, which won’t be taken lightly.”
Since its introduction in 1984 by EC&M Electrical, the Rhino Flexible Conduits offers strength and flexibility, while being easy to terminate.
Made entirely from insulating materials, the Rhino Flexible Conduits are totally corrosion resistant and cannot damage cable or hands when terminating.
The Rhino Flexible Conduits are complemented by a series of high-impact PVC fittings, providing an all insulated assembly, waterproof to IP 67, with a choice of thread types.
The Rhino Flexible Conduits will work in a temperature range of -20˚C to +60˚C and as high as 105˚C, depending on the series. The series are differentiated by colour - grey, green, orange and black.
The Rhino Flexible Conduit is UL listed for oil, heat and sunlight resisstance. The Rhino Flexible Conduit is also suitable for direct burial and marine use. UL listing (CSA certified E-123464) meets relevant requirements of AS 2053, Parts 1 and 5, and DIR 2002/95/CE ROHS.
