Australian clean-tech company, Dyesol
has won the inaugural Innovation category award at the 2012 Clean Energy Council Industry Awards.
Awarded to Dyesol in the presence of 700 industry colleagues during the Clean Energy Week Conference in Sydney recently, the Council applauded the company for ‘ground breaking development in the development of Dye Solar Cell Technology’.
Dyesol took the top prize in the new ‘Innovation’ category created to recognise demonstrated excellence and leadership in innovation and research in the clean energy industry.
Dyesol Director Gordon Thompson described the prestigious award as a great tribute to the hard work of the Dyesol team and their partners in Australia and across the world.
Dyesol is a global supplier of Dye Solar Cell (DSC) materials, technology and know-how. DSC is a third generation photovoltaic technology enabling metal, glass and polymeric based products in the building, transport and electronics sectors to generate clean electricity and improve energy efficiency.
