THE new Datamax H-Class family of printers is designed for true RFID integration and supports the demands of RFID compliance.
The H-Class printer features leading-edge technology with a strategically placed antenna to provide optimum performance and accuracy with the flexibility to support future standards.
Capabilities include quick and easy calibration of tags for precise print positioning and encoding.
Return on Investment (ROI) is ensured with Datamax proprietary IntelliSEAQ technology, which monitors hardware performance to maximise print head service life, improve print quality and provide longer print life.
According to Mark Luft, national sales manager for Dy-Mark Identification Solutions, the H-Class has been designed for high-volume, mission-critical, and specialty labelling applications.
"The H-Class is suitable for compliance labelling, shipping and receiving, inventory control, product identification, asset tracking and manufacturing environments," Mr Luft said.
"While robust enough for demanding and rugged manufacturing, shipping and processing environments the H-Class family of printers are also precise enough to support high-resolution graphics and text on small labels."
Options include:
Standard peel and present. A simple 'plate' style design that automatically separates most printed labels from the backing material and allows subsequent printing to occur only after the removal of a previously printed label.
Heavy duty peel and present. An internally 'overdriven' design for heavy duty requirements using aggressive adhesive of polyester type media.
Plug and play cutter. Attach the cutter and it is automatically detected during power up. The cutter is a rotary type mechanism capable of cutting media from .0025 inches to .0100 inches thick and the cutter life is designed to exceed a half a million cuts.
Self-powered internal rewind. A heavy duty 8 inch label rewind option using a dedicated DC motor to tightly rewind a full 8 inch roll of labels and backing on to a 3 inch diameter core.
Present sensor. An output control device that allows subsequent printing to occur only after the removal of a previously printed label.
Linear scanner. This new design provides 100% check on every barcode label. If unreadable it will automatically void the labels containing failed barcodes. Supports every picket style barcode.
Other features include:
* An integrated design to completely support current and future RFID requirements
* A direct-powered eight-inch internal rewinder option which offers one of the most powerful methods of rewinding a complete 8-inch roll of backing and labels.
* A high-speed 32-bit/200MHz multi-tasking processor to reduce processing times and increase data throughput.
* Standard Ethernet, USB, parallel, and serial interfaces to ensure easy host connectivity across multiple platforms
* Available in 200 and 300dpi.
