Marking aerosols for mining industry from Dy-Mark

Mine Marking
Dy-Mark’s Mine Marking and Safe Mark
aerosols have been specifically designed for use in
mines and excavation sites, with both products available in horizontal or inverted (trigger) formats.
The horizontal format is suited for spraying rock walls/faces, whilst the inverted (trigger) format is suitable for marking the ground and mine ceilings.
Mine Marking is widely recognised as a quality product and has been used for marking out ore zones in grading control, pit walls and survey grid layouts.
Safe Mark is a non-flammable marking paint, specifically designed for use in coal mines and other fire sensitive situations.
According to John Morgan, technical manager at Dy-Mark, both Mine Marking and Safe Mark have proved to be popular in mines throughout Australia and overseas – in Africa, New Zealand, Ireland and Papua New Guinea. “Mine Marking and Safe Mark have been formulated to give bright, highly visible marks – ideal for dark mining environments. Both paints will mark rock, dirt, gravel, asphalt and other surfaces,” John Morgan said.
Also available from Dy-Mark is a Mine Marking Handle, suitable for use with both Mine Marking and Safe Mark.
Designed for marking mine ceilings, this three-part handle extends up to three metres. The handles are available in steel, for use in coal mines and also in lightweight aluminium for other mine environments.
