Dy-Mark to exhibit identification solutions at Impetus 2008

Dy-Mark will be exhibiting their identification solutions at Impetus, 2008, the biennial GS1 conference. Dy-Mark will be showcasing the Collamat 6610 label applicator, the Datamax M-Class Mark II thermal printer and a series of prime, outer case and pallet labels that can be manufactured to suit any customer requirements.

Collamat 6610 Label Applicator:

Dy-Mark are distributors of Swiss label applicators manufactured by Collamat. According to Mark Luft, National Sales Manager, Dy-Mark, the modular design of the Collamat 6610 Label Applicator enables companies to configure it to suit their own production requirements. It has been designed for industrial solutions where flexibility, robustness and ease-of-handling are a necessity, irrespective of the operation size.

With a delayed pre-dispensing feature, the Collamat 6610 Label Applicator allows over-edge applications without stopping the production flow. The label position can be easily adjusted to suit all labelling requirements and speed can be adapted with ease.

The Collamat 6610 Label Applicator is suitable for smaller production lines through to high-speed industrial operations, requiring fast throughput and accuracy. It is ideally suited for pharmaceutical, food, beverage, household chemicals, cosmetics and packaging industries that are looking for user-friendly, modular labelling equipment that is easily integrated into production systems.

M-Class Mark II Series:

The Datamax M-Class Mark II is a compact, rugged industrial strength printer series that raises the bar for thermal and RFID printers available today. It is designed to provide ease-of-use and a lower total cost of ownership (TCO). According to Luft, the versatile and rugged M-Class Mark II Series is up to 24% faster and 30% smaller than other printers in its class and offers the power and performance required in a broad range of industrial environments.

The M-Class Series is designed with a smaller footprint, making these printers suitable for users who need the power of an industrial printer, but need to consider space limitations within their production environment. The M-Class printer Series feature solid die-cast metal construction, large graphical display and modular design.
