Dy-Mark Identification Solutions, a division of Dy-Mark , have announced the unification of Datamax and O’Neil, brands both owned by the Dover Group. The two identification solutions brands have come together, taking the first letter of each company name, to form one new and dynamic brand ‘DO’.
Dy-Mark Identification Solutions have been a Datamax partner for over 15 years and distribute the full range of thermal desktop printers and print engines in Australia. As an accredited service provider, Dy-Mark Identification Solutions are excited to see Datamax-O’Neil increasing their commitment to being a global provider of high performance printing technology.
Mark Luft, National Sales Manager, observes that the announcement has come during tough economic times, but the commitment from Datamax-O’Neil to product development, innovation, technology and a dedication to being right by their customers, is what will strengthen the company for success.
According to Simon Tang, Datamax-O’Neil spokesperson, Regional General Manager, Asia Pacific, the unification of Datamax and O’Neil into one cohesive business group will benefit customers with a streamlined and efficient organisation. The synergies that are realised with this unification will help to design and deliver good solutions with superior support and service.
The brand has taken more than a year to develop, after industry research and consultation with customers. Dy-Mark Identification Solutions will work with Datamax-O’Neil during the initial transition period, to continue distribution of the products in Australia.
