The Mercoid Division of Dwyer Instruments introduces the new and innovative Series EDA electronic pressure controllers.
The Series EDA electronic pressure controller is a compact and versatile package that is able to replace a separate gauge, two switches, and a transmitter in a complete system, saving on installation time panel space and money.
The EDA electronic pressure controllers incorporate two SPDT relays that have fully adjustable on and off points over the range for control or alarm use. The front face has LED indicators for switch status and a large backlight two-line display showing process value and indication units.
EDA electronic pressure controllers are easily programmable with a simple menu structure, two-line display, and external programming buttons. The weatherproof housing is ideal for a wide variety of applications with panel mount, flush mount, or pipe mount ability.
Key Features of the EDA electronic pressure controller include; programmable display units of psi, kg/cm2, bar, in Hg, ft w.c., kPa, MPa, %FS, in w.c., mbar, cm w.c., mm Hg, or oz/in2 (choices depend on range). A “Test Mode” that simulates the input over the range without pressuring to easily test switches and transmitter output option. Failsafe for sensor failure, over pressure, high temperature limit, low temperature limit, or keypad short where the user chooses if relay is de-energized, energized, or no action. With transmitter option, user chooses an output of 3.6 mA, 22 mA, or no action. Also includes selectable alternation of set points between the relays for even wear on duplex pump applications.
Other features of the EDA electronic pressure controller include; zero set, adjustable dampening, menu lock out, peak and valley indication, removable terminal blocks, adjustable time delay, and scalable transmitter output.
Series EDA has all 316 SS wetted materials, ±1% of full scale accuracy.
