W.E. Anderson, a division of Dwyer Instruments , have released the new Series RPV reducing pressure valve. The Series RPV reducing pressure valve is a compact, moderately priced steam, water or gas regulator intended to satisfy fundamental requirements for pressure reduction.
The Series RPV reducing pressure valve is used where cost and/or space limitations are the primary concern, the reducing pressure valve is a rugged and economical choice for use on steam irons, autoclaves, laundry mangles, single radiators, steam tables, vulcanisers, steam, water or gas applications.
The Series RPV reducing pressure valve is available in sizes 1/2? to 2? in cast iron and 1/2? to 1” in stainless steel, the stainless steel reducing pressure valve is rated to 300 psig at 420°F and the cast iron reducing pressure valve is rated at 200 psig at 400°F. The RPV reduces pressure from 3psi to 140psi. Other features of the reducing pressure valves are spherical seating surface on floating stainless steel disc for tight shutoff, different spring ranges, and integral stainless steel strainer.
