Dueltek release new range of 50 Micron Fibre Optic Cables



50 Micron Fibre Optic Patch Cables
Dueltek has released new line of 50 Micron Fibre Optic Patch Cables with LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cable jacket.

This range of new Duplex 50/125 Fibre Patch Leads are OM3 Rated and are fully backward compatible with Dueltek’s 62.5/125 cables.

Dueltek’s terminated Multi-Mode 50 Micron Fibre Cables are available with connector types such as LC, SC, MTRJ, ST, SCA, FC, E2000.

The main difference between 50 Micron and 62.5 Micron cable is in bandwidth.

50 Micron cable features three times the bandwidth of standard 62.5 Micron cable, particularly at 850 nm. The 850 nm wavelength is becoming more important as lasers are being used more frequently as a light source.
