DRIVETRAIN Australia has announced the commissioning of test and rebuilt facilities in its Brisbane branch office at Banyo.

Recently installed equipment is now used to conduct comprehensive testing of transmissions and torque converters to ensure the units meet manufacturers' recommendations.

All service testing and repairs at the branch are performed by fully trained technicians.

A typical job involves the disassembly and cleaning of a transmission, axle or torque converter followed by close inspection of all hard parts. All soft parts are replaced.

If required, digital photos are taken of the damaged hard parts and included in the quotation to show their condition and these also form part of the service report to the customer.

The Banyo branch also stocks a full range of genuine spare parts including Dana, Spicer, Clark-Hurth, Kirkstall, Rockwell, ZF and Twin Disc.
