Available now from Drivetrain Power and Propulsion , FluiCheck is a real time machine condition monitoring system, developed to accommodate a ‘suite’ of sensors to determine the condition of a lubricant within a machine.

This real time machine condition monitoring system monitors oil viscosity and oil quailty, as well as actively regenerating lubricant oil and almost eliminating lubricant top-offs.

FluiCheck allows the user to tailor the instrument requirements to a specific application for use as an oil analysis and monitoring tool. It is ideal for applications such as haul trucks, construction equipment, and stationary engines.

The FluiCheck system communicates with the lubrication system instrumentation using serial Modbus protocol, and can also communicate through a wireless RS232 communication interface. FluiCheck also interfaces with the internet.

The key to the FluiCheck real time machine condition monitoring system is a set of algorithms that convert a fluid’s chemical properties into a realtime analysis of lubricant condition.

FluiCheck can also be combined with an oil replenishment system that adds fresh oil in calculated doses to maintain oil quality at customer specifications. The oil removed from the engine sump is metered into the engine’s fuel system at low levels and burned as fuel. This allows the operator to optimise drain intervals by maintaining oil quality above the levels required for reliable operation.
