Drivetrain Power and Propulsion has expanded its Australian and New Zealand operations by opening a new branch in Adelaide.
The new Adelaide branch is equipped to provide a range of services, including genuine spare parts supply, technical support, maintenance, repair and overhaul for off-highway powertrain components, and in-field support of the Gastrain business.
Located in Royal Park, the new Adelaide Drivetrain Power and Propulsion plant has been established to service several key industry segments, including defence, mining, materials handling, rail, and heavy truck and trailer.
The new Adelaide facility is set to improve maintenance, repair and overhaul turnaround times as it eliminates the need for South Australian off-highway powertrain units to be be transported to Melbourne or Sydney for work to be carried out.
“For some time, existing and potential customers in the South Australia region have discussed with us the need to establish a local operation to support their needs and ensure a higher level of service," says Drivetrain executive general manager - ANZ, Frank Gili.
"We have listened to our customers and are confident our new facility in Adelaide will meet their support requirements," he adds.
The new Drivetrain Power and Propulsion branch will also be a key centre of support for the locomotive, mining and essential services markets, providing maintenance, repair and overhaul service for transmissions, diesel engines and generators.
Drivetrain Power and Propulsion provides technical services to the agriculture, automotive, construction, defence, marine, materials handling, mining, power generation, rail, and transport industries. They offer a wide variety of products and services, including engine and powertrain maintenance, repair and overhaul, new components and parts, power generation design and construction, technical support and training, and professional engineering services.
